Our boys are equally victims. The trending attitude and behavior is the drug misuse and snipe hunt. These boys are so caught up in this wild game, killing hopes and aspirations, busy building castles in the air. The addiction of these intoxicants were strategically inflicted as venom in these boys, making them disoriented, confused and physically not active. Our boys need to be properly guided, to be aware of their status as custodians of women. As the guardians and protectors of women, boys need to be hands on with their responsibilities in life. It is an absolute fact that when the mind is idle, will obviously be preoccupied by negative thoughts, transferred to negative behavior, actions and repercussions. Their minds need to be programmed to certain activities to ensure creditability, dedication and firmness of logical thinking. Knowledge seeking of reading, writing, calculations, and vocational skills and acquisition, sports and aware amount of entertainment should be part and parcel of their every day activities. Making them to appreciate their roles as boys turning into men soon enough, will help them realize there worth. Discussing the ills and dangers of the intoxicants and loosing armful quality time, through sensitization and awareness forums, using the most effective channels will be of great help. Our boys can use their strength to be self dependent, courageous and credible towards human and national development.
